Higher Education Grants

The ISGC is particularly interested in projects contributing to NASA's missions and/or utilizing NASA content and resources. Activities can include research activities, participation in STEM-focused competitive teams (e.g., robotics teams, etc.), participation in NASA-organized activities, workshops, special courses, or other activities to increase student engagement in STEM fields. The matching requirement is 1:1.

Collaboration/Travel Grants (for Higher Education)

Collaboration and Travel Grants are available for any higher education faculty and staff in need of funding to attend STEM related events or collaboration on STEM projects. 

 

Submission deadline: Rolling. Application must be submitted at least 45 days prior to travel.

K-12 STEM Engagement and Informal Education Grants

Proposed projects can focus on competitions, camps, mentoring, outreach, or other projects that happen either in or out of school– as long as the proposed project aligns with the intent of the grant and benefits multiple students and/or educators. The ISGC is especially interested in projects that include an actionable plan to serve underrepresented, low-income, rural, first-generation, and/or female students. The matching requirement is 1:1.

 

Proposal submission deadline: 2021 TBD

K-12 STEM Travel Grants (i.e., Bus Grants)

K-12 Travel Grants are available for any Idaho Educator in need of funding to attend STEM related events (e.g. Idaho Tech) or STEM related activities (e.g. Science Museum Field Trip). The matching requirement is 1:1.
